Press awards & Bloomberg Markets
Well, after nearly 3 months of living out of cardboard boxes and suitcases, and more than a year of living in transition, I've finally moved into a new house. Renting in London is tough, but buying a home in London has to be one of the most stressful and ridiculous things I've ever gone through. If I never see another fucking estate agent for as long as I live, it'll be too soon.
Meanwhile, stuff has been going on, so here are a couple of new things. First off, I'm pleased to say the Save the children project has been shortlisted for a digital innovation award at the British Press Awards, for the mobile feature in the telegraph. big thanks to the telegraph, save the children, the staff at civico zero and everyone else involved.
Also, here's something new for Bloomberg Markets, a double page spread and some animation for a piece about the current state of anxiety in european banking.
Also, a vole in a french horn, for stewart lee in the observer sometime a few weeks ago.

Save The Children
A new project that's kept me very busy for the last couple of weeks. Save The Children sent me to Rome to a place called Civico Zero - a centre for unaccompanied refugee children which is seeing a huge influx of kids arriving from many different countries - to conduct some interviews, and asked me to make a series of illustrations based on the stories we heard. It was an eye-opening experience, and I've made quite a lot of work around the stories, I will post some of it over the course of the next week or so. The Telegraph are running a feature on this project today - here are a couple of shots from the mobile version, which looks great.

tower of london, part 1
details from something that's been keeping me busy for the best part of a year, an ongoing project for the Tower of London, parts of which are starting to go on display now. the images are in the various prison areas of the Tower as part of the permanent display - most of them are printed on large panels in the Bloody Tower, and are based around the story of the two princes whose bones were found nearby. i'm working on several other stories based in other parts of the Tower, and alongside the illustrated elements i'm also working on audio, video and animation as well, and i'm nowhere near finished yet, so there will be more of this still to come.
